Hunter Wellies are so functional and yet so gosh darn attractive. I have huge Irish dancing calves, so my personal lust list includes a pair of forest green Huntress Wellies. They have a wider calf and are a little shorter, so it's more comfortable to bend at the knees. No one rocks these very hard in CA, but I'm sure I'll be living in them on the East Coast soon enough.

LL Bean (Duck) Boots are sort of like an ugly mystery to SoCal citizens. No one knows about them and no one wants to know about them. Having summered in Vermont for the past 6 years, I am pretty fluent in New England style and I have grown to LOVE Bean boots. They keep your feet dry, fit nicely (won't be a struggle to get on with my man calves), and have great traction for those icy days. Please reconsider your hatred SoCal, because I just bought a sweet pair of moc style duck boots for rainy days and I'm rocking them, whether you love them or not!

Equestrian Boots. Everybody loves them. Everyone. They scream, "It's cold outside and I've got style, and I'm not dumb enough to wear something with a heel right now. Oh yeah and I look good." Flat. Always flat.
It's going to be over 100 degrees in Orange today, all I want is to bundle up with some fabulous footwear. Can you blame me?
